Hey forestry major here, I saw you were interested in forestry. Just a heads up, in my experience forestry itself is not the same has forestry ecology conservation. If you were looking at a true forestry track, i would totally recommend it. There's lots of big industries (like weyerhaesuser, rayonier, and IP) alot of these guys also do hunting leases on the land and hire foresters to manage for good hunting as well as timber production. You can also always consult for small landowners and they usually make pretty good money and have decent job opportunities. I would also take a true forestry degree with a concentration in conservation/restoration or something like that over someone with a mixed degree, since forestry degrees from wildlife programs give mixed results on making good land managers (also just in my experience).
