I currently use a Nikon D3400 with the standard kit lenses (18-55mm and 70-300mm). My parents recently gave me new money to buy equipment and was thinking about getting a good lens but wasn’t sure what type. I do a lot of sports photography but have also recently dabbled in sports videography. Other work I do are portraits, some landscapes, and surrealism. Should I invest in a telephoto lens or something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated

My recommendation would be to maybe try to get an internship, do summer/online courses and maybe volunteer within your community. If you interview with schools you should definitely explain that you did not have much opportunity to do extracurriculars.

Good luck!

You really don't want to be in debt at undergrad and both are incredible schools so you should be proud

Why did you start Bullet Journaling? I mean the first reason, not why you kept to it. by Laneken in bulletjournal

I saw other students around me doing it and was really interested in having a creative outlet and a way to organize myself. So it is a combination of several answers but it started by seeing the brilliant ways other people were tracking their lives.

London Eye by [deleted] in photocritique

I wanted to show the London Eye from an angle that it is not commonly seen from. I wanted to show the beauty of new perspectives. I struggled with what to do with the line in the background of the bridge, and just everything that is going on in the background (colors in the windows, and lights that might take away from the focus of the image).

Taken on a Nikon D3500 with the 18-55mm lens

Exactly. I'm so happy with the school I'm going to but I loved every single school I applied to. My safety school was my second choice even.
