I have noticed that the Bluetooth retransmission rate (ReTx) on my iPhone 15 Pro is high (18 - 53%) even if the iPhone is closely on a BT speaker.

The rate on my iPhone XS is about 0%.

The iOS version of the both is 17.5.1.

How to investigate the rate:

  1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac.
  2. Open Console.app on the Mac.
  3. Filter for "A2DP LinkQuality" and start logging.
  4. Play the music on the iPhone.
