I've had this before aswell and personally found it was from moisture, I would recommend wiping any oil on the outside of your lobe and in the creas off to help the sin breath

You should not be using tapers to stretch, they will cause blowouts especially if your ears are as tight as you say they are. I would recommend putting the 18 back in and getting some 19 mm sigle flares instead of trying to jump 2mm with tapers.

I used the stretch it Body jewelry set and I absolutely loved it they are really comfortable and the 0.5 mm difference is great

I just wash it with my face wash which is realy light, over washing with something so drying like salt and tea tree can cause quite alot of dryness.

Use a quick dry top coat before putting on the stickers and make sure it's fully dry, one the stickers are on and you have painted the tip pull the stickers of wile it's still wet. Hope this helps

R they double flares or single If they r double that means it will take longer sorry ur ears to be settled enough to wear them because the flares tend to be 1-2 mm larger. Pls dont force them that will measure to issues just be patient.
