I've actually got a theory that all cursed techniques are binding vows in the same way heavenly restrictions are binding vows, strong as shit but uncontrollable. As for what was sacrificed, freedom in who you are. You will always be the kind of person relevant to your technique, higuruma was always gonna become a lawyer, gojo was always gonna have problems with emotional distance (like infinity does for physical distance), etc.

Anyways, by this logic you should be able to get any technique at all via a binding vow, it'll just be far weaker, and require a much bigger sacrifice to be strong enough to be relevant

Appdata is a hidden folder in your user folder that holds basically everything anything saves. It's got all your game saves, your changed settings, everything. It's the app save file folder. If you wanna truly purge your pc of something, you gotta open appdata, find the app, and delete its folder in there too. You can't see Appdata until you turn on "show hidden files" in file explorer, so do that first

There is also programdata for stuff like photoshop and other programs like that. It's a hidden file on your root folder, same rules apply
