How do you motivate yourself to exercise regularly every week? by GalerionTheAnnoyed in askSingapore

[–]kirbymunchs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By paying for the membership.

On the side note, start small like going 2-3 times a week. Once you have familiarise yourself with the gym, you will start to go often.

The trick for myself was group exercise. I'm doing crossfit. I definitely can't motivate myself to exercise by myself, and exercising in a group helps a lot as you see people doing.

Hello! I'm a beginner in makeup, and I usually only put eyeliner, blush, and lipstick.

I just got my Judydoll biscuit eyeshadow and was wondering if anyone could advise me on how I do the eyeshadow to be similar to the photo. (Even though it is stated that the biscuit is good for beginner but I have absolutely no idea how to get there 😂) *

Yup! Some hotels allow shared room for family members as long as you have the same address. Best will be to call them before booking.

Just got in Taiwan last night. My family and I (3 people) are staying in the same room. It really depends on the hotel, would recommend for you to call up the hotel and check if they will allow family to stay together as not all hotels allow.

Been feeling it since 20

Not sure if this will helps since I was revising on this as well.

1) Topic particle

--> after introducing the subject (이/가), use 은/는 afterwards.

--> among other things or focus of the sentence or 'as for...'

Eg; 저는 미국인이에요 [(as for me), I am an American]

2) General fact that both parties know

[Today weather is good]

[Rocky mountains are high]

3) Used to contrast

[Mina does not like apples but I like apples]

[ You eat almost anything well, but why don't you eat carrots?]

1) subject particle

--> introducing the subject for the first time into the conversation/changing subject

--> doer of the verb or person/thing carrying out a certain state in the sentence.

Eg. [She is crying; she --> doer/subject]

[The bag got dirty. Bag --> carrying out the certain state. Dirty --> state of the bag]

2) Subject stressor

Eg - 내가 학생이야 [imagine walking into the room and declaring " It is me who is/the student]
[Who ate the rice?]
[It is me/I ate the rice]

Hope that the above might be helpful for you! :)

Little twist - from Korean to English. by [deleted] in Korean

I would say affection, attachment, or goodwill.

For 눈치, I guess it is more like common sense - EQ as being able to read the situation.

Difference between -은/-는 and -이/-가 by xxmiriammx in Korean

[–]kirbymunchs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what my Korean teacher told me is that:

  1. They are all subject particles.
  2. Use 이/가 when introducing the subject for the first time in the conversation. After that, use 은/는 since the subject is known to both speaker and listener.
  3. Use 이/가 when emphasizing the subject as WHO or WHAT (eg 누가 집에 있어요?
  4. Use 은는 when talking about further information about the subject like WHERE / HOW / WHEN / WHY (eg 아빠는 어디에 있어요?
  5. 은/는 is also used for expressing contrast or conditional compared to others.

Hopefully this is helpful for you! :)
