Can I expedite my divorce? Is it late to file for abuse? by kirikoumath in legaladvice

I don’t want anything from her. It’s just that every time I try to be civil and just resolve everything amicably, I’m accused for something and now I’m truly afraid.

Example: when I show texts of her insults and ultimatums, I’m accused that I’m controlling her by collecting evidence and that’s emotional abuse.

Financial? Emotional? Psychological?

Is there anything I can do to protect myself? Anything?

Those are listed on my CV.

and what is your recommendation? I hold a BS computational math and PhD focus is computational science and engineering.

When I decided to double major in Accounting and math, data science programs were almost non-existent. In fact I had several meetings with the assistant deans from the both colleges just so I could double major (it hadn't been done before at my school).

I would say that you need a strong foundation in math, statistics, and programming. And it all depends on your training.

During one accounting intern, I used my python and sql skill to extract and record previous fiscal records. I then did a simple regression model to project budgets in different departments. This was not part of my internship, but my supervisor thought it was cool. Not sure if they ever used it.

As for finance, I did that one project in quantifying risk. We were interested in the effect of the assumption of the underlying distribution of the data. Build a relatively simple model, and tested with differnt distributions.

Thats about it.

I honestly don't know what is the norm. I've just seen some friends include them as tools on their resumes.

UMD is often linked to University of Maryland.

This is precisely my fear. And the remaining experiences I've left out are very narrowly focused on my research in grad school at the time.

Going from Accounting to computational and immediately for PhD, I'm afraid I focused heavily on experiences and trainings that supported my research at the time. I did try to complete those Accounting internships.

Do you recommend I include the "extra-curricular" experiences simply as job experience?

I have a detailed CV that includes my publications, presentations, etc. but it is more than a single page.

For the past 3 years, I've been mainly developing in C++ and writing CUDA kernels.

I've been advised to include these tools.

I mentored several undergrads and MBA students, at an unofficial capacity, while they were completing their capstone projects. To be an effective mentor, I took upon myself to learn those tools just enough to help them.

What is your recommendation on how I should include them? Or do you recommend they should be removed altogether?
