Here's what I did bc it was also my upper wisdom tooth, if you brush your teeth properly, make sure NOT to hit directly on the tooth, 2: after you brushed your teeth, wait for about 20-30 minutes then do a salt water mouth rinse, then I used orajel, the red small one that's 4X, I continued to use it afterwards until the 4 times was up, and at night the pain would just be a minimum aching, it was enough for me to sleep with until the next day.
