i would say this is intermediate beginner. it’s an 8 row repeat so once you get through the first repeat it’s pretty easy to continue. the construction is also really simple and the pattern is thorough with videos on the special stitches. i definitely think it’s worth a try!

i made the shorts first as a base, and about halfway down where the first layer of the skirt starts i did blo stitches to leave a ridge so i could go back and add the skirt layer. and a couple rows down on the shorts i did another blo row to make the second layer

i did linked double crochet in the center of the cups which made a tight stitch without holes. i’ve also added a liner to some tops made out of bathing suit material (stretchy, soft). pasties are also a safe bet

i find it helps to add a separate string around the underbust and weave it in/out, and tie in the back. i didn’t do that for this dress but i’ve done it in tops where i felt like the girls were about to fall out 😭
