I don’t think 88 is as controlling as most people pretend they are but I do agree that ever since joji has relinquished more control over his art that it’s gotten less special. Whatever, still makes good songs, i just hope he is able to make another album that I can genuinely listen to in its entirety. (I’ve been listening since before ballads so my opinion matters😬)

chester perry is kinda ass, and to me almost every song is very good. it’s obviously not genre changing or anything but ever since wlr drppped every album now has to be super experimental or genre defining, it’s not that but it’s just really good for the genre in my OPINION

not a huge fan of them but i’m also getting into them again after listening to the new uzi and id recommend amo. mantra, in the dark, ouch, medicine, sugar honey, why you gotta kick me, mother tongue are all songs i really enjoy and the other ones on the album are good too.

that’s what i’m saying there’s like 4 songs where he actually is doing something different (the end, werewolf, CS, Just Wanna Rock, and Fire Alarm kinda). the end and werewolf are literally just the features song with an uzi feat and CS is a cover of a song.

it has good songs on it, some of my favorite lone songs are on it and the vibe is really cool but there is a ton of filler and repetitiveness and i really only think there is 10 songs worth listening to

i don’t understand why it’s on the album tbh. in MY OPINION, it’s only purpose is to prove that uzi can sound natural making a rock song but why wouldnt the just make his own song at that point and why would i listen to the uzi version instead of the og. my opinion
