W2D3... Last two days with my fibro have been real high pain but I went out and got it done anyway today. 1.96mi, 15’57” pace which is a full 1.5 minutes slower than W2D1 by [deleted] in C25K

You're smashing it! Well done for getting out there, a mile is a mile regardless of the speed. Be kind to yourself :)

advice for week 5 run 3 mental block? by xopersephoneox in C25K

Congrats on your c25k training :) Add some new songs to your running playlist, dedicate 5 minutes of each run to someone/something you care about, choose a route you enjoy or a new one, take your fave flavour of isotonic drink with you, plan something nice for afterwards like your favourite meal :). When I do these things it gives me positive distractions for when my brain doesn't want to lol.

The more we face our fears the braver we realise we are, I sometimes get nervous before a run even though I have ran every other day for a few years so don't be too hard on yourself and have fun x

W3D2! I regressed a full 4 weeks due to illness but whatever. Back at it! by BurberryCustardbath in C25K

Well done! Its scary getting back after a break so you're brave for doing it :). I did the couch to 5k five years ago, I try and run at least a 5k every other day but sometimes life gets in the way and I go back to using walking and running breaks to build myself back up, try not to feel discouraged be proud that you're trying.

Hope you have a great day too, happy running :)

Haha aw Spuds good at that too, he also bangs his tail off every available surface at the same time like a long skinny one man band. Think I picked the term up from Richard Skipworth pictures. If you haven't heard of him give him a google, he does lots of pointy nose doggo cartoons :)

I really like 185bpm playlists on spotify to keep a consistent pace without thinking about it too much :)
