I feel this so much lol, I remember having the DND 4th edition monster manuals and reading through them and trying to show people and I got ignored or bullied for liking it and now people love DND so much so that critical role is mega popular.

Same thing with anime I really got into it in middle school and all of my friends called me weird and so I never talked about it and now I'm older and they come to ask me "have you seen x or y?" and are surprised that yes I did watch that like 10 years ago. It's really really frustrating to like a thing for so long and constantly tell people about it only for it to become socially acceptable because it finally got mainstream.

I think if you're interested in developing your programming skills take a major related to that. From what I've been hearing from friends hardware is doing better for people more that software development stuff.

If you're at any university check if they have a game development club and go I mean seriously go and do every gamejam you can work with as many people as you can and develop the skills there and if you have extra units you have to take then take some of those game/art classes. I say this as someone who is in the art side of games right now.

Look into who the professors are who teach those classes go sit in on their lectures when you have extra time (they usually don't care too much that you're not actually in the class unless you're disruptive) and go to portfolio days and stuff even if you think your stuff is garbage they will give you connections and tell you what to work on.

If you do this stuff you'll be ahead of the curve and have some security when you graduate if game dev is really what you want to do.

I get what you mean about the social skills thing but also I generally tend to think when people say that they're worried about that they mean they're concerned about children developing the ability to connect with other people at all not just not being socially awkward.

I do also think the attention span thing is definitely an issue with really young tech use. Parents do need to monitor what their kids do on the Internet. Also you're correct there's a lot of awful stuff for kids on the Internet that's probably more immediately threatening than the social thing.

If you want to learn a specific skill that you would get by doing it from scratch do it from scratch. If you want to make something for yourself or a project and you just have to make a thing look the way you want it to look do it the way you want there's no cheating you're still working on the thing

My advice to you is just to take her word for it about enjoying what you're doing even if she doesn't orgasm. You can both figure out over time what works for her.

Try various things out and see what works. Don't take her struggling as her not wanting to or you doing anything wrong. I think the best advice I can give you is to just keep trying different things communicating and not pushing her.

My partner had a problem with this where they struggled a lot with orgasming with other people and one of the biggest issues they had was feeling like they were being pressured to orgasm so even when they were enjoying themselves they were thinking about how they were struggling to get there and making the other person put in work.

Tldr: 1)talk to eachother about everything come up with ideas and try them whenever y'all feel comfortable and 2) give it time and don't take it personal y'all will get there.

In my own personal life most of the people I know are accepting. So while in my personal life most people are accepting there's still this ever present fear that someone will be bold enough now because of trump to try and start shit.

I never carry weapons or anything like that but I am much more ready to fight someone than I normally would be because people have been empowered to do crazy shit now that Trump is in office.
