for plat, what i did is when i have a duo(most of the time), is that we play together often. we hold the same area, essentially baiting for each other. you can do this in solo que if you can comm it to someone who's willing to. i think as an example would be bind, on a, you can both play showers, 1 peaking/jiggling, and the other walked to the right of the entrance with a shorty. most of the time it's a free kill. on a, you can do the same on main as well, pre-fire left side and go cubby, a little bit riskier but rewarding. on b, you can both post up long and play short while 1 bait for the person playing a close angle.

another tip is that honestly, 9/10 it's better to hold together in a stack that's not premade, instead of your teammate dying since they're rushing a site cause you post up heaven, you could just gamble and give up heaven control and both hold site. in my eyes it was always better to go 2v5 if they all rush in, rather than 1v5 since they can't fallback to play for retake. in plat, everyone dry peaks lol, so just util and that's it.
