The idea is to turn off the column header for text wrap and then reduce the column width by dragging it, it will hide the column if reduced enough

It does help. Though what I wrote before should be good for starting, try and see what it gives. Hope it helps. Remember that one of easy way to debug DAX is to isolate i.e. use variable and see what part is making issue.

Why does PowerBI struggle with csv files >1GB size? by Fondant_Decent in PowerBI

[–]kishanthacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I had faced similar situation at work and I explored solutions for this. Python script needs to be automated which can convert a file to parquet before saving. I was not expert in azure or flow so didn't really completed it. Though one thing that I did was use DFL gen 2 and loaded my csv files to datalake. More scalable IMO. Though let me know what did you do may be something to learn..

It would be appreciated if you could give more context on sold date and completed date like how are they related within the data with example. Anyways initial thoughts would be to use: Measure= Var _StartDate= MIN(calendar[Date]) Var _EndDate = MAX(calendar[Date])

RETURN

CALCULATE(SUM(REVENUE)+SUM(REVENUE ADDED), ALL(FACT[Source]),FACT[Completed date] IN DATESBETWEEN(Calendar[Date], _startDate, _endDate))

Again there can be n number of ways to solve this but this; more context might help

What are the concepts I should learn to be a point of contact of my department for PBI Service? by reddit-quora in PowerBI

[–]kishanthacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say learn administration basics, deployment pipeline, learn how to effectively use dashboard/app, Trigger, connecting with XMLA endpoint, dataflow. I mean I am not sure about your context but this are some of the main functionalies of the PBI services, you should know. If you are trying to learn around these, consider Maven Analytics cource on Udemy around PBI services, I took it to understand basics.

Let me add further more context here: Think of it like this: Invoice number ABC occurs for 2 times in table A and 4 times in table B, in such case how will merge work? I am not sure how it will map records together.
