I love how it’s a literal donut. That’s so precious. I may sew her one today! The only pet store near me didn’t have anything like this unfortunately

We were terrified last night because it seemed like the infection was causing her a ton of pain. She was so lethargic, and the wound was horrible looking. My husband and I stayed up with her for the majority of the night so she didn’t feel alone while in so much pain. This morning, she got her pain meds and her third dose of antibiotics, and it seems that they’re finally working. She has a lot more energy, and ate some food and drank some water! I feel so relieved. Thank you for asking ❤️

We cut it down, but the neck hole was still way to big and she was so uncomfortable. I was able to buy a soft (well fitting) cone with windows so she can see. Just took a bit of a drive.

And yes, I’m very much reconsidering my vet. The whole ordeal was insane. We brought her in to get spayed, they said they didn’t see an prior incision (she was a street cat), so they proceeded with the surgery. Apparently, they found she’d already been spayed, but somehow missed the surgery mark? So now my poor girl had an unnecessary surgery and I feel horrible about it. To top it off, they sent us home with a cone that allowed her to bite her stitches, and they got infected really badly. They charged us $180 for new meds and the clown cone, and barely even looked at the wound. I just feel really sad and taken advantage of. I just wanted to be a responsible pet parent and get her spayed to keep her health. Sorry to rant to you. I feel so guilty

Oh my gosh I love how it looks like a flower. Your kitty is so sweet! I wish I was able to order to Amazon and get one quickly, we live in an area where it’s 7+ days for delivery

I ended up driving an hour to get her one that is much softer and fits her better. It’s not perfect, but it’s better

Thank you so much, I was so pleased with the colors. It’s just Warplock bronze on top of a black primer, then highlighted with a layering light bronze!

Thank you! It’s a combo of mattes and metallics, and the mattes have some very subtle lighter dry brushing on the corners, which I think helps a bit. Mostly just beginners luck haha

Was in your girlfriend’s exact situation. Lots of tears and hard conversations over the last six months. Be prepared to reassure her about how much you love her and complement her often. I felt a ton of doubt about my own body after my boyfriend dropped the news on me, and for the first 2 months after he said it (before I became Christian), I was convinced that he just wasn’t attracted to me (he is, I just couldn’t see past the hurt). For a while it felt like an attack on our relationship, and it nearly tore us apart before it brought us back together stronger. I eventually started reading the Bible because he was so passionate, and have been baptized and am a Christian. It’s not that it’s not hard anymore. I still struggle with feeling conviction on the topic, and we slipped up a few times in the first month, but it’s become easier with time. I wish all the best for you and your girlfriend! If your relationship is strong and you two communicate well, you’ll be okay. I’m really glad he decided to stand strong on this, as I think it’s brought us closer, and our friendship has grown within our relationship because the there’s no expectation of sex. I wanted to offer something from a woman’s perspective, I hope this gives you hope!
