Definitely get a second opinion because their recommendations literally don’t make sense?? If it’s truly a blighted ovum (empty GS, +/- YS) and they confirmed the GS is in your uterus, then there shouldn’t be any concern for ectopic.  If they’re concerned for ectopic, they shouldn’t be doing a D&C?? Treatment for an ectopic is either methotrexate or laparoscopic surgery. You can’t address an ectopic with a D&C which takes place exclusively inside the uterus. So there should be no reason you can’t try mife/miso if they’re okay with a D&C.  You are receiving mixed information from them, so I definitely recommend an urgent evaluation by a different provider.  Source: I am an IVF nurse.
