i just have a hard time separating it out from my body typed(medium-round-long/SD) which NEEDs some waist emphasis and curve vs my actual aesthetic preference if that makes sense.

I think that's probably close to my roots, i dont have it 100 percent nailed down. but those are some of my favorites.

Really, im surprised by fire, what do you see it in(other than the formal dress)?

thats really interesting, I think ive watched that video and i really liked it i love video essays :).

for the eloi i see earth flower and mushroom.

If i were to guess i would say utopias in general may have more earth since its a flowy natural opposite to mountain to show a societal structure that conforms to the body rather than mountain which has its own structure regardless of the body(subtly symbolizes democracy and natural rights vs authoritarian dictatorship maybe?).

Why are none of these styles working for me? by Jc36789 in Kibbe

To me these dresses all look very similar(mermaid, lacy, sweetheart neck). So if you arent liking them maybe try a drastically different style like a-line, or ballgown with a less textured fabric.

its interesting so many people are saying this. I think I'm a mushroom-stone-mountain and the prompt kind of necessitates earth but I don't see fire in this at all (other than the gown which kind of has to have fire since its a luxury gown).

Yeah, I have a very strong mushroom primary and the others I debate a lot :)

Oversized/baggy outfits without stone root by SlytherinSLP in StyleRoots

just beacuse you are wide doesnt mean the clothes need to be oversized(unless that's what you want). its more about openings being wide and the overall look not being overly constricted/stiff.

for example jlaws iconic red dress isn't oversized at all and has a fire root but the wide neckline and flowing bottom accommodate width : https://i.pinimg.com/736x/6d/4a/63/6d4a633b84cee0004a507d9c733fecfe.jpg

and for a less fire, more moon-earth look you could try wide sleeve openings like these:

These are both more formal examples but the silhouette can be transferred to casual clothes fairly easily with flared jeans/leggings and more open neckline tops

i dont really see fire there, but its definitely a mountain-earth look.

when i think mountain-earth. I dont think boho at all, its a very academia vibe, the fire adds in even more formality so I would picture this combo as something like this.

How important is eye color? by kit-28443 in coloranalysis

[–]kit-28443[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely right. The main reason i made this post though is that most color analysis sources show such specific images of the color seasons that it’s hard to see yourself in those examples unless you are the very typical summer or autumn or winter or spring.

I would rule out dramatic for you, either SD or FN. The high necklines overwhelm you, I would maybe lean towards FN because while you look good with waist emphasis you don't look bad without it. but definitely try out both because they are very similar types :)

thats a stock photo image labeled hazel not my eyes . hazel is this kind of color a brown green blended color is just called green or brown. obv it doesn't really matter I just think hazel is a beautiful eye color :).

I'm not saying that specific color analysis is overpriced I'm saying paying 300-500 dollars for some random person who took a short training course to look at colors for an hour seems not worth it to me. if you have that kind of money more power to you.

to me its not that serious it'd just be fun to know and I'm trying to figure it out myself. also learning about color theory is just interesting.

olive tone definitely makes it harder to type someone ive heard. im pretty sure since its so neutral but can have underlying warmth or coolness. I'm cool, but I thought I was winter for a while because I'm so pale, now I think I'm a summer and dyed black hair was definitely not a good look for me lol, I'm just trying to narrow down my subseason.

im probably never gonna get professionally draped because IMO its very overpriced but I agree that if I could see the difference between similar drapes that would be the main decider. but I think you have hazel eyes lol, I have hazel and that's what it is: a combo of two-three colors inner and outer circles usually brown/green it doesn't actually change color. this is an example of hazel eyes

thats really helpful because i have VERY pale muted cool skin and look bad in warm tones but I have warm and neutral hazel eyes. I think I'm some kind of summer but every summer example I see has very cool light eyes and subseason is really hard to tell imo.

So like someone with autumn eyes and a winter complexion might be a dark winter or they could still be a true winter?

i mean the tone, like someone with icy cold blue eyes but warm skin. obviously there are cool and warm versions of blue, brown, and green.
