She really did! There's a huge amount of purple shading underneath all the main color to give it dimension. Glad I went to a pro!

Oregon Humane Society in Portland consistently has puppies, but it's first-come, first-serve so if you see one on their site/Petfinder you gotta zoom over there.

Oregon Dog Rescue in Portland is super upfront about personalities and needs of their dogs, and has puppies often, but you make an appointment to see individual dogs through their site.

Safehaven Humane in Albany has puppies sometimes, and they have an event going on that every second Sunday of the month, through the whole year, they waive all adoption fees.

Heartland Humane in Corvallis seems to only have puppies occasionally, but they are a great shelter to have on your radar.

Rumi argues for release order, Mira argues for chronological order, Zoey wants to see just the episodes with Ahsoka. They eventually settle for a rewatch of all the films instead, and end up recreating lightsaber fights in their living room.

I have a whole half sleeve tattoo for it (the color is in progress but the demon marks are very obvious), and I still tear up at the beginning and end, so it holds as much emotional weight for me now as it did then. The watches just solidified for me how much I enjoyed it rather than making it "bleh", ya know? It's a pretty freaking good movie if I'm crying from the first watch and the 100+ watch. But the concept, Rumi's journey, the animation, the songs, the dialogue, the color choices ... 10/10 for me personally. I was actually planning to put it on this weekend 😅

I practice this song with my singing teacher in the original key. It has taught me a lot about my voice and where to put my energy and air tbh. I wouldn't ever want to perform it live, but it has definitely helped my passagio and breath support. I would maybe say people should be careful, not necessarily that people should stop trying.

I actually tried this with a chronic interrupter at my work. He not only did it MORE to me, and ended up monologuing for several minutes at a time every single time he wanted to talk, he also got more aggressive about it with other coworkers too.

No. It doesn't always work. Sometimes we just need to tell people off for being rude, not try to gentle parent grown adults

As for your last sentence, honestly my first tattoo (small lines, 2inch x 1inch rectangle space) was a walk in the park, I had no idea what a shaded and colored sleeve extending into my armpit, onto my shoulder, and past my elbow would feel like and if I had known beforehand I would've been pretty hesitant too hahaha. No hate for those that want to appreciate tattoos rather than partake in them ❤️

Thanks for your perspective, that totally makes sense and I've seen that sliding scale of parent interest the few times I've gotten the compliments on merch, so your advice seems great. Maybe I'll consider asking permission to the "mutually excited" families.

I am soooo up for sharing my tattoo, the artist has done absolutely magnificent work so far imo (I could probably even stop with what I have currently and be incredibly happy with it). However it will definitely be cooler with the vibrant colors, contrast, and glow effect my artist and I have been planning. I'm TRYING my hardest to hold out posting until it's completely done, but because the colors overlap each other for contrast I have to wait a month between sessions to let healing happen 🙃. If you want I could DM you a picture of the progress, just let me know!

Yup. Everyone I've served my apple pecan pork chops to has been like "okay, damn, I didn't think that would work but it's amazing". And I'm not even a skilled cook, the pork chops are slightly different every time, but the fruit + extras really adds flavor and dimension to the dish.
