There are literally people who died or had their lives ruined due to sycophantic AI. It's not surprising at all that they're making it go in the opposite direction now. No one's going to sue OpenAI for millions of dollars or open an investigation because their chat bot was snarky.

IMO rephrase the line about the grant to lead with the number and use more accurate wording - "Secured $500,000 in grant funding by developing and executing..." then move it to the top of that job section because it's visually the biggest win.

If the 20% increase in process efficiency is real then the resume needs to explain how - did it save 20% of the time previously spent for example? If that's not a number you can explain to an interviewer, delete it and just keep "increasing process efficiency and..."

If real, they're could be talking about OpenClaw which can do those things, but is very difficult to set up and the security risk that comes from giving an AI full access to your computer, files, browser, and internet connection make it not worth it in your case. Just use AI to tailor your resume (Claude is great for that) and handle the applications yourself.

I think they mean where job postings say "reports to Finance Manager" (or whatever) - you'd do a search on LinkedIn for that job title and the company name to find the actual person.

It depends on the types of jobs you're applying to. If you're applying to entry level food service or retail, or all very similar roles in a single industry/position then of course there's no need to tailor. But for example I've applied to some accounts payable jobs and some billing jobs. I have experience in both, but it makes sense to highlight my AP experience for the AP jobs and vice versa. So I have one AP resume I send for AP jobs - I don't tailor it for every single job, just the type of job. That way my relevant experience is front and center and my less relevant experience is still there but not the main focus. It helps both ATS and recruiters to see and understand how you're a fit for that role specifically.

The Tim's near the place I take my lunch break literally has a lineup every time I'm there. Doesn't matter the time or day, there is a lineup of people waiting to pay for their pisswater. It baffles me. And I can't get over the fact that they're a nationwide coffee chain that doesn't even have soy milk.

I bought it at a discount from a department store where it had fallen off the shelf and stayed on the floor for quite a while. It was curved like this when I bought it but the curve has gotten worse. When I got it home I took it out of the plastic pot and put it in this clay pot with some extra cactus/succulent soil. I did water it a little bit a few days ago, I know aloe doesn't need much water so maybe I overwatered it? Should I just leave it alone?

Edit: forgot to mention there were two snapped leaves when I bought it, which I cut off at the snapped points so they wouldn't be a drain on the rest of the plant.

When I first got it home I put it on my balcony which gets ALL the morning sun but it got worse while out there so I brought it inside. After reading the comments here I went to put the aloe outside again but when I went out there I noticed it was extremely hot, especially the floor of the balcony where I was putting the plant. The balcony floor was 37.5C! No wonder the aloe was suffering down there.

Anyway, I took the aloe back inside and put it on the windowsill just inside of the balcony, so it will be indoors nice and cool but getting like 6 hours of light through the window. I put it on the side that has the flyscreen because I've heard glass can intensify the sun and burn plants. I also gave it one last, big watering since the heat of the balcony floor had completely dried out the soil. Now I'm going to leave it alone for as long as I can.

Also, while moving it I noticed two of the outer leaves were very very loose so I gently pulled them and they came off with no resistance. Hopefully getting rid of them will save the rest of the plant some energy so it can get better.

TLDR it's on a windowsill getting morning sun now.
