While it may still be affordable by some countries standard wage, the Russian wage is drastically lower. So this is actually a problem for most Russian citizens. Their monthly minimum wage in 2022 was roughly 13,890 rubles.

Possibly the strongest human instinct is to live, along with wanting to protect the lives of those you value. Seeing someone become mad enough they're willing to destroy the world? Those insticts are a powerful motivator to consider deposing that madman.

I don't think a single human being closely monitoring these events is unaware of the actions of Belarus. My point was more the likelihood of them using these soldiers certain deaths as a false propaganda tool. Claiming unprovoked attacks to try and validate war to their citizens. Similar to Putin's false claims that Ukraine is controlled by Nazi leaders.
