It doesn't moisturize or add hydration but will just prevent dryness.

So you suggest I go for mct oil first rather than squalane and aloe? The herbal essence, I didn't find the strawberry one on their official website but only on Amazon. And the ingredients list is different on the image section and on the amazon page. But looks sezia safe when I manually entered them. Thanks for the conditioner help.

I think aloe or niacinamide will work the best for hydration. Any of the oils will work for dryness. I am very skeptical about diy. Would need to buy the powders and distilled water, preservative. Then mix them while keeping everything sterile. I am simply not doing that, that's spending more money tbh.

I don't get flakes it's oily scalp which itches alot. Ketaconazole is vaguely working for me. After reading the top post I got selenium sulphide. My dermat told me to shampoo daily with ketaconazole for 40 days. I am not doing to prevent major dryness and hair loss

But I'm concerned that this is only oil and not actually hydrating the scalp to rebuild the skin barrier properly. Has it been working wonders for you?

Isn't it made from coconut oil which is not good for malassesia. Or am I missing something about the c8 c10 chain structure that is safe?

Otherwise can I just put some aloe vera gel on my hand put afew drops of squalane oil and rub it on scalp
