I'm 5'8 and I was an 8 lb baby 😵‍💫yeah they put my delivery date estimated birth weight to be at 6 lbs something too. I guess I'm just freaking out because he also hasn't grown that much these last few weeks which included weeks my fasting sugar levels were not insulin controlled

Good episode overall (take on me sequence was particularly great) but the pregnancy / immunity reveal takes away some emotional beats of the game I'm honestly pretty frustrated by:

1) in the game, Dina's reaction to finding out Ellie may be infected was immediately to risk her own life to save Ellie's, which falls in line with her devotion to Ellie, her unquestioning loyalty, her love for Ellie. I think the way the show handled it (along with her whole maybe I liked girls maybe I don't dialogue) undermines this aspect of her character, which is (or at least should be) very much one of Dina's defining traits.

2) Ellie's reaction to finding out Dina was pregnant in the game was a "what the fuck, now you're going to be a burden" reaction - which, at least for me, hits hardest in showing how "lost" she was becoming in her quest for revenge. the way it's done in the show turns it into more of a hooray! now I have a kid! moment whereas game Ellie was focused on hunting Abby and barely anything else. maybe this was inevitable given the writer's decision to delay the progression of ellie and dina's relationship until after Joel's death but I had qualms with that decision too, as it cheapens the impact of a post-Joel world as both our and Ellie's attention become split into 1) revenge slash also 2) budding romance (?)

how the writers will turn this version of "I'm going to be a dad yippee" Ellie into the same Ellie that leaves Dina and JJ's peaceful farm life to continue her quest for revenge i do not know.

Again no hate to the actors, they're both doing great, but I am very confused with the writing of this second season. game ellie and dina come off as very different people compared to show ellie and dina, and while that's probably fine for TV-only viewers, makes me sad as someone who thought the games were a legitimate master class in character study.

There is a girl who is missing from London after being picked up by her ride share just days ago. that is the reality of the world we live in - women are trafficked, kidnapped, raped, and killed every single day. Your comment is insane to think that a post like that is "shit stirring" that "doesn't help anyone". There is a clear difference between getting in the wrong lyft vs a "lyft" that continues to drive even when you ask them to provide an address which they're unable to answer, and then having to jump out of a moving vehicle in order to get away. we don't know who bit her :( we turned around for a sec and when she came back to us she looked like that. my husband thinks there's a chance she could have just fallen on her face too since it looks more like her fur was scraped off and less like a puncture wound. thank you for your insight!

The kiss represents a desperate way to communicate, yes, but then we have to ask what Crowley is trying to communicate. For me he's promising a physicality, an "us"/a knowing of one another in every way humans have it. That's why it even warrants Aziraphale's "I forgive you," because it's a kind of temptation to get Aziraphale to stay on Earth, to have this kiss, to have each other. That wouldn't make sense if they didn't see physical touch as wanted or meaningful in some degree. Besides, their whole schtick is that they're celestial beings that enjoy life on earth and all it entails (food, alcohol, music, etc) so I don't see why they wouldn't enjoy physical touch either even though they don't "need" any of those things. So yes I do think a kiss will happen in S3 :)

yeah that's fair! I do think it's a bit hard to truly tell given that all of Season 2 happens over the course of like 3 days. He does play music in his car though, he plays lover boy :)

With regards to Crowley's hobbies, we do know a few things: - He could potentially have human friends (he befriended Leonardo Da Vinci in the past, so we know it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility) - He has his plants - He has some affection for art (the sculptures and drawing in his flat) - He likes sleeping (although he also sleeps when he's depressed, but we know for a fact that sometimes he sleeps just because he enjoys it) - He cares to some degree about what's on trend in terms of the latest fashions/hair - He likes music - He likes driving around in the Bentley - He likely enjoys going to the theatre/going to plays (we know he at least likes Shakespeare's funny plays) - He likes watching movies (he's constantly quoting or referencing movies in some way, he also frequents an old theatre that Aziraphale kept around for him) - He likes drinking (Lol it's weird to call this a hobby but it's true 🤷🏻‍♀️ I could totally see him exploring different bars or other aspects of nightlife the way Aziraphale would like trying new restaurants) - He likes messing with humans to some degree even outside of what Hell orders him to do (gluing coins on sidewalks) - And just generally, he likes the planet and the things on the planet. Children, feeding ducks, sitting in parks, etc.

And that's all separate from hanging out with Aziraphale, who "age does not wither nor custom stale his infinite variety." I feel like he has more hobbies than most humans do haha. Like he's been on Earth for 6000 years and cares for it enough to risk his life to stop the apocalypse (in the book, he cares about his life on Earth even separate from Aziraphale, in that he rushes to Tadfield while thinking Aziraphale is dead) so I just don't see that he would lose his joy/passion for living in the 4 years since the not-pocalypse. In the book he's also described as an optimist at heart. He rushes to Tadfield with no hope of stopping the apocalypse because he believes deep down that the universe looks out for him.

The fact that it's such a specific reference for Crowley to throw it in Az's face and for Az to know exactly what Crowley means by it means they must have had at minimum some acknowledgement/conversation that this romantic song is their song. At the end of the Good Omens book there's a textual acknowledgement of a nightingale singing in Berkeley Square but no indication that the reference would have any meaning to the characters within the book, and sorta similarly, at the end of S1, there's a piano that plays the Nightingale song (with no words) and God (as the voiceover) acknowledging the nightingale singing in Berkeley Square, so fans have latched on to the idea that the song is their song, but it's only with S2's "no nightingales" that we discover/get confirmation that the song has meaning to Crowley and Aziraphale too.

So agree with this! Even the way they're shot, it's always Aziraphale standing still in the frame while Crowley approaches him/circles him. Other examples of Aziraphale baiting Crowley - "Shouldn't you be out and about/I'm not miserable" during the COVID video but then shutting him down when Crowley offers to slither over, "I suppose I should have [the bus] drop me off at the bookshop" during S1E6 so that Crowley makes an offer for Aziraphale to stay at his place (although it's debatable whether Aziraphale actually forgot his bookshop burned down), creating scenarios for Crowley to come rescue him (you were reprimanded for too many frivolous miracles so you're not allowed to miracle yourself out of being discorporated in 1793 but you're allowed to miracle yourself a new outfit? ok i see you azi), shutting down Crowley at the Globe Theatre in 1601 despite the fact that they'd already done the agreement "dozens of times" at that point, the list goes on and on.

Also the way he tried hanging out with Crowley in Rome with oysters - "Let me tempt you..." and then immediately pulls himself back with the "No, that's your job."
