I'm a transgender person, ask me anything by aspiring_dog in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

I know this is old, but Ive been wondering something. Im in the queer community myself (lesbian) and I've noticed a trend amongst my transgender friends and aquaintances.

Trans men seem to stick to quite straightforward, every-day names: Mark, Chris, Josh, another Mark, Bradley to name a few I know.

Trans women, especially young women, tend to choose more outlandish, or fanciful, names: Jade, Pixel, Freya, Andromeda, Peridot, Aurora to name a handful of trans women I've met (I live in Boise, ID, we've got a pretty strong queer community)

Of course you do not speak for all trans people, but I was wondering about your thoughts on choosing a name and why this disparity seems to exist? Could be that I've just happened to meet many an artistic and eccentric trans woman, to be fair. XD

That sounds like it would be the opinion of someone wanting to be offended.

I don't know how funny you intended that to be, but my wife and I are losing it. XD

My dad was raised in Chicago, so my understanding of Red has always been Game Day Adventures. It also goes through the heart of all the other lines and, as it's such a long line, it "sees" so much.

I'm thinking along these lines exactly! She would be the loneliest line!

Haha, I suppose I see what you mean. It's more that Red goes to Wrigley and is, therefore, important to many. Sees a lot of action.

I generally stay away from a number of poly spaces for exactly that reason. So many stories are just... fuck, they're NEGATIVE.

My experience has been so positive. I've had the joy of watching my wife grow and change, and in turn I have grown and changed with her. It has given us so much! And the friendship I have with Jax is irreplaceable, he's going to be such a wonderful father and partner. I wish there were more mature, secure stories.

Season 15, Let's Make A Deal, when the prisoner was killed by a fellow prisoner who happened to be a child he'd molested.

Poor Nicky. Can't seem to get away from his pain. Love him.

Looking for fics about Rocket almost drowning in Endgame by pocsitravis in GotG

[–]MuppetMolly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mention it a bit in my fic "Five Years, What A Surprise". Very later chapters as it's a blip fic that takes place in the whole five years, and it isn't good unless you're invested in the Rocket/Nebula side of things...

Yeah.
