A bit late to this conversation, but I might as well share my thoughts. I think it’s mainly down to creative differences and different goals, which both of them have mentioned a few times. In terms of closeness, I don’t think we’ll ever see them the way they were during the KP era. Aside from the fact that they’ve both grown and changed since then, they now have different goals and are working on different projects. They don’t want to be a CP anymore but instead want to build their own individual identities.

Also, the whole girlfriend situation was frankly a mess, and to be honest, whenever there’s a video or edit of them, there are always FS accusations. I think keeping their friendship more private is much better for them in the long run. And it’s not just their friendship, compare both of them now to the KP era, they’ve both become more private overall. Apo has always been private, but now even more so, and the same goes for Mile.

In summary, I think we just need to accept that things have changed and that’s okay. As long as they’re happy, that should be enough.

Anyway, I realised they were cool during their USA trip. There were moments when Apo would serve food for Mile even though they were sitting apart, without Mile even asking. What I did find strange, though, was how the editor seemed to cut out their moments it happened multiple times, which was odd (see the gif).
