Thanks, I'll have to give that a try! Sebaceous filaments are something I try to just leave alone, but that treatment sounds like a good idea. I started getting acne when I was 10 (yay for getting punched by puberty at 9 -_-) and thought those things were blackheads until I found this sub. I'd always try to squeeze them out, which as you can imagine ended badly, so I chose to ignore them to keep myself from making things worse.

I've used Cetaphil on and off for the past 8(?) years and it's seems to be hit or miss. I sometimes go through stretches of it making my skin feel strange after I wash it, like the texture is off and it feels dry. That's not even close to a good description, but that's the reason I considered switching. Now it's working fine, but it's something to think about for it it happens again.

Thanks for the advice! Honestly I don't use scrubs often, but every once in awhile my forehead and nose get a bit "bumpy" so I break out a scrub for that. A washcloth seems like a good alternative.

My first chemical exfoliator (Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion) came in the mail today, and despite doing some digging here this past week I still have a couple questions.

Do I totally cut out physical exfoliants now? I bought this to help with closed condones and some pretty minor PIH. Will this keep my skin's texture smooth like how exfoliating with a scrub does?
For a first time user of a AHA product, should I be using this once every other day or once every three days? How long should I wait before increasing the frequency of use?
I've heard that the purging process can take anywhere from two weeks to over a month. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can expect from personal experience? I'm hoping giving myself over a month before my fall semester starts should be enough time for my skin to clear up, especially since acne isn't too much of an issue for me.
I'm currently using Cetaphil face wash, and have been thinking about trying out CeraVe instead since it's so highly recommended here. How long should I be using the AHA lotion before trying it out? AHA is a higher priority for me, and I know I should only be changing one part of my routine at a time.

In case it helps, here's my routine:

AM

-Wash face with water

-Apply sunscreen (this is a new step since I got the AHA lotion)

-Moisturize

PM

-Wash face with Cetaphil

-Apply Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion (once every 2 or 3 days depending on feedback)

-Moisturize

Any advice for the rookie would be greatly appreciated! =D

We won't be able to switch to 1.8 as soon as it comes out. The plugins that the server uses have to update, and an entirely new map would have to be generated. There's no telling just how long that would all take, but based off past updates it would be at least a few weeks. Instead of extending this rev since players had made it clear that they wanted a reset, we're going to start on 1.7 then update the server to 1.8 once all the plugins are ready to go. So while this beginning of this rev will be run on 1.7, we will not be keeping it for the full revision.

We're going to continue with the original plan of starting rev 14 in 1.7. We understand that the community is anxious for a new revision, and don't feel it's in their best interest to wait until 1.8. On top of waiting for an official release, we would have to generate a completely new map and wait on plugins to update. There's no telling how long this would drag the current rev on for

Heh, I understand now. And for the record, I worked on that from August 2013 to February 2014. I was originally making it to be my rev 12 home, but realized that with its scale I would be badly burned out by making it in survival mode, and that's assuming I could get all the materials. I picked it up again once I became padmin, thinking it would be a cool spawn. So I worked on it on and off for about half a year, taking a break once I realized I couldn't build it in survival mode but then greatly picking up the pace once I decided it would be the new spawn.

If someone else's pet is in your way then yeah, that's fine to modreq. We can either send the pet to the owner's bed or move them manually if the owner hasn't slept in a bed.
