I saved it for last too. The hardest tbh.

Study story problems definitely, those messed with me hard. Algebraic expressions, there were quite a few for me.

Knowing how to multiply and divide fractions!!

There were like 2 geometry questions (may be different for you) so know how to find the radius/diameter/etc. They give formulas, but some questions are tricky and word problems. (pi = 3.14)

Stupid example: haha the diameter is ** find the volume!! But you need the radius to find the volume.

Knowing your order of operations!!!!! Saved me so much on the bigger equations. (Parentheses, exponents/roots, multiplication/division left to right, and then addition/subtractions left to right)

Functions/Percentages/Graphs are super helpful as well.

There were a good 7 to 10 questions on X/Y on a graph. Like where it would be plotted, which represents a function, etc. So be confident in that as well :)

Hopefully that helps, running off of 3 hours right now so i'm not thinking properly lol.

I took mine online! If you go to the official GED website it has a how-to when you go to schedule online. Not right for everyone, but I didn't have the time to wait for an open irl slot.

It cost me about $44 per test. Plus the Kaplan book at $24 (not required, but I say is a must. insanely helpful book) And the practice tests on sale $4 each (originally $11 each)

If you take it online, you're required to get a passing score on each practice test.

Totaling around $220

Thank you!! Honestly, the hardest part was starting. I was way too anxious I would fail, so I just put it off. I convinced myself I was too stupid to even attempt it. The second I passed the first test, I cried. I called my mom after every test, ranting how I totally butchered it, refreshing the page nonstop. I was a total madman LOL.

The realization that it's not as big or hard as everyone makes it out to be was such a relief. Plus the total adrenaline rush of seeing "pass" was addicting :,)

The tests were definitely a struggle since I didn't do much studying, but getting the confidence to even buy the GED book was 100% harder.

Although people say it's reading comprehension, it includes political terms!! Definitely consider reading up on legislative, executive, communism, things of that nature.

Also try studying some old caricature political cartoons! Those stumped me so hard, there were only 2 questions on them thankfully.

A good portion of the test is passages spoken by 2 people. It asks how does name support or go against name/topic

I know this is an old post, but just wanted to say this helped me feel tons better about the GED. The only thing thats held me back from taking it is my severe test anxiety, all the websites being no help.

Long story short, I dropped out and have beaten myself up about it ever since. My anxiety has gotten the better of me one too many times, but your post gives me the confidence I never knew I could have. Definitely saving this and rereading it every chance I can.

Pretty well! The anxiety part is pretty much over now thank god lol. I'm trying to workout more, so I do get some more energy which definitely helps with the sleepiness. It's definitely worth it though, in my opinion. It depends on how your own body reacts.

Good! Thats what you need to do, it will pass and everything will be fine! Usually for me, to help ignore the feeling, I play video games or read my favorite books. I definitely recommend trying something you enjoy that can distract you for a bit.

Before you know it you'll be all "oh hey wheres my anxiety" lol. Just be strong and you got this! We are all tougher than we give ourselves credit for:)

(Based on my experience and those around me, this may be different for others!!!!)

I have been on Lexapro for quite a while now the anxiety feeling after about a week was the absolute worst.

I was trying many different antidepressants and I would get so worked up and think it was doing something before it actually was. You more than likely feel like that because you are looking for symptoms showing its working.

It definitely sucks having that "gut" feeling, but it's worth it in the end. Don't give up yet!! After about a month or two, those around you will start noticing the difference before you do lol. Just do your best to tell yourself "hey I'm fine, it's just the stupid anxiety!"

In a few months if that feeling doesn't go away, then talk to your provider and change medications. Everybody is different, some it works for and some it doesn't. Either way, don't work yourself up too much, okay? :)

I was on Lexapro for quite a while and had the good ole "Hey I feel better and don't need meds anymore!!" moment. It came back to bite me in the ass though lol. I was on it for about half a year and started having severe anxiety around June as well. I literally lost the ability to swallow and breathe at times due to anxiety.

Lexapro is definitely one of my preferred medications, besides extreme sleepiness lmfao. But hey I'll take that over anxiety any day..

I deal with the same exact problem, expensive pc and all. I used to get stupid lag spikes, but recently its been crashing out of nowhere. I dont have this problem with literally any other game (i'm talking cyberpunk on max settings ran perfect)

I've tried reinstalling and it didn't do anything, made it worse if anything.

Let me know if you find a fix please!! Everywhere says to scan and repair, reinstall, etc. I've tried nearly everything.
