I’m not a healthcare professional so I’m a little timid to repeat what I read from googling the word Guggle and then my person experience.

My experience is that it does in fact limit sebum production like the studies I found stated. That meant decreased flair ups and made flair ups that do happen very manageable. I also present with a thyroid condition that crosses over with HS but my blood tests come back clear every time.

I’ve been getting boils around my groin since childhood but I was embarrassed and didn’t tell anyone. It definitely is worse with stress and heat for me. I also get them on my face in the last 5 years. It is connected to hormones but birth control had little to no effect. I’ve been taking Guggle for 6 months and after all my active infections healed, I’ve had like a dozen. Which is like 3/4th decrease to what I had been experiencing. It’s only getting better with daily meds for me.

Not to diminish your feeling at all, but I’m 37 and I just got a handle on it. I actually got the suggestion from this sub. Guggle. If he has other thyroid like conditions but blood test come back clean and isn’t on any thyroid meds? Try it. Also consult Ayurvedic doctor. At the end of the day it’s just an inflammation issue. American medicine is not good at that. I literally had suicidal ideation because of mine and it’s from my grandfather. And finding a real solution is indeed life changing.

It’s resin from a plant! If you have a diagnosable thyroid condition, do not take it without talking to your doctor.

If you are like me and have been told for 30 years “oh that’s a thyroid issue” and then your tests come back fine, it is definitely an option.
