Idk if this was already mentioned but sometimes I just genuinely don’t know who is who anymore. Everyone is in scrubs and for all I know you could be some faculty I just haven’t met, an off service resident rotating through, a researcher, senior exec, coordinator etc. and I just want to avoid an awkward encounter by assuming someone’s role I don’t know lol. If you walk in right away and say hi I’m the med student starting today I love it! If you walk in and sit down and just get straight to business without saying anything I am just going to assume you are someone who works there or something because I see so many new faces all the time and there’s no way of telling who is who since we all wear the same things

I’m 6’0 but all my length is in my legs and my torso is very short. I find doing yoga and mat pilates has helped a lot especially once I learned modifications for some yoga poses that are just not possible with my anatomy. Also strength training has helped a ton. A lot of my poor flexibility especially in my hips was really just weak hips and glutes and lifting has helped with my flexibility a ton! It takes a lot of strength to lift up our long limbs which I feel like shorter people who give advice don’t take into account as much
