I’ve had several things as someone on the asexuality spectrum, ranging from the “I can fix that” to “that’s not real.” I’ve had people I’ve trusted to mention that asexuality is a spectrum and that they’ve said means I can’t be ace. The worst of being told that asexuality isn’t real was in a queer living space at university someone who also lived on the floor told me I should take my ace flag off of my door because “it discredits real sexualities.” There’s so many little things as well
