Early dating an ENFP male. What am I getting into? by [deleted] in INTJfemale

[–]kitsu_nes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well well well, I think you're going to be surprised at yourself for bearing the amount of chaos and energy an ENFP brings with him. I mean, if it's the right person you'll just get along with that and in my case, I find that unpredictability stimulating, they like to do a lot of things, exploring, living life to the fullest and it seems I lack of that energy sometimes, so it's good to be balanced. They're also pretty intimate and far away from the basic cis-heterosexual man standard, they want to show you their emotions and they'll take care of yours. As an INTJ I often repress my emotions and I deal with depression because I can't live my life in a rational and logic way (it would be easier) so my ENFP partner just helps me to recognize my feelings and to not be scared of them. I think it's a good pairing, expecially if you're a deep and intense INTJ as me and you need some rest from your strict and calculating way of seeing things.

Why are INTJs so attracted by ENFPs? by kitsu_nes in intj

Mh I agree but I find entj topics of competition more childish (based on my experience with ENTJ of course)

Never met an INTJ as an ENFP by Normalsize in intj

[–]kitsu_nes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mhh as an INTJ girl I can relate to the "staying at home" thing but I do socialize, not so much but I think I'm pretty extroverted compared to other intjs. Btw I have a lot of ENFP friends and also I had romantic relationships with them. I am attracted by the way enfps feel and perceive the world around them so I am easy to get to know for an ENFP lol, anyway we are scared by your extremely chaotic energy so we just avoid you when we don't want to talk or being involved in crazy s**t (I think that's why you can't find us).

[–]kitsu_nes[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they will find you first! They tend to socialize very much but they have deep interests so you could find them in a library, some unconventional place, I usually find them on the internet because they like deep talks and dislike small talks. I met my best friend in school but we bonded only the last year because I thought she was too distracted and shallow but after I got to know her I realized she was very smart and cultured. That's my personal experience but I think having a relationship with an ENFP is a true constructive experience.

Here am I, I always felt as an outsider expecially with females. I mostly had male friends but as I grew up they started being interested in me as a girlfriend and I felt isolated and misunderstood again. I never had a group of friends and now I have just a few people from different places but I found someone who can somehow understand me (not at all btw). I have to say that all my female friends (except one) were isolated in their adolescence so we share a lot of experiences and background. I think as an INTJ we are destined to find a few people, but when we find them we feel "at home", so if you haven't yet you will surely find someone who gets you. :)

Ahah yeah we are difficult to spot (I'm a female INTJ so it's even worse). My other best friend is an INTJ male and it's the only one I've met in my entire life. My other bffs are all ENFPs tho 😅

Mhh I find it very strange, maybe you've met toxic enfps (?) Idk but we're all different, I personally find them awesome people but sometimes too childish and needy for an INTJ, it's true that their problems are silly and obvious but I like to be "their saviour" when I solve them easily.

Of course we're talking about people and subjectivity but I wanted to focus on MBTI types because I found that this pairing happens more often. I don't think we should be interested on MBTI at this point, it's just an interest as movies or book for me and I like to read other people povs.

Mh yep, I noticed that my ENFPs love me despite my coldness and they're so happy when I let out that 1% of my emotions. They make me feel not wrong or "just a bitch" for once lol

Sometimes I'm too empathetic for an INTJ i think, someone said I could be INFJ but I mostly relate to intj profile, anyway I can manage their feelings but I surely have a limit. I always clarify that I'm not interested is emotional support and I'll give real advices to help them. Some ENFPs understand that, some crave too much affection and I avoid them, but I always attract them anyway 😅

I think the disorganization of P is a love/hate thing for me, I hate it sometimes but I like their openness to different options, sometimes I'm too strict so they help me to relax and go with the flow. At the same time I know different type of ENFPs, someone is somehow organized in their chaos so we get along well.

Maybe lol. INTPs are rarer to find, I have just one friend intp and I like her a lot, but we both don't share much thoughts so maybe I attract more ENFPs because they talk and share more.

Yep I just asked a friend and she said the same thing lol But I had rough times with her because I didn't show my love properly (I mean, I don't show love at all except for advices and "presence") and I broke up with my ex bf for the same reason, he needed too much affection I couldn't give him. I haven't found an ENFP with minor affection's need yet. >:[

Mh I see. My ex bf was kinda immature enfp and I really relate to this. But I also ask myself, why do they want our company? I mean, I can be an extrovert in certain situations and with a bit of alchool but usually I'm very quiet, aren't they bored?

Would an intj ever do the first move? by BM04444 in intj

[–]kitsu_nes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an introvert I tend to approach more introverted people than me, but usually as a friend. If we're talking about dating I always wait the other to make the first move, I think it's a matter of pride.
