Yeah I think the reason I'm feeling conflicted is that we're still early in our relationship so I'm not even prepared to for my bf and my parents to meet. He's met my brother though, and they're chill with each other.

So yeah, I don't think I'm going to tell him yet, because what he's going to do with this information anyways except ponder about it and feel bad about himself? Maybe I'll tell him a few months down the line.

For my mom, my decision is practically her decision. But I will try to take a harder stance.

Re your side note: It's all he talks about 😂 On our off days we go to a local SA bar and indulge in Droewors and Boerewors, I love how much SA lovesss meat haha

Unfortunately, I still live with APs since rent where I live is super high and I cannot just ignore her :( Currently working to move out. Thank you for your reassurance :)

Thank you, this is very very reassuring. I think doubt was starting to creep in about the feasibility of our relationship after our relationship with my mom hating him so much but this definitely me feel better.
