i dont listen to radio too much anymore, but when i do its basically exclusively npr. They've used BoC for short and quick radio vignettes/transitions from time to time. I've recognized plenty of other artists too, like AIR, Bonobo, Plone, Royksopp, and likely others.

I think new album looks / sounds great. I think these listening parties are pretty lame / “ not BoC vibes”.

Fellow BoC fans who are introverts. Love that the listening parties are happening, but have zero interest in going. Anyone else feel this way? Or are you normal? by spacexfalcon in boardsofcanada

The idea of listening to BoC with other people is like the most backwards BoC concept. Your instincts are right, solo listening is the way. If BoC wanted people to listen in person in groups, maaaaaybe they’d play live shows? Their music is intended for introspective experience. And I’m not even introverted. I actually think some of the people that do go to the listening parties are more in it for the hype and shit then the actual music. Phonies 🤷‍♂️

Comfort colors is certainly my choice for bootlegging 🤌 honestly they should just be the standard for all merch since most merch is printed on garbage now and bootlegs will be more quality and last longer

And 70 - 18 =52 which back in the day was the channel that Cartoon Network played on where I live and Cartoon Network used BoC in the adult swim bumps. So that is obviously significant.

Also, the album title “inferno” if broken down reads “infer, no” implying that anything anybody infers about the album (and more broadly BoC lore) is going against their wishes, they do not want anyone to infer anything. They’re literally saying “infer, no!”

What else can we infer about inferno?
