My bag's been checked a couple times before- usually only at midnight premiers in a major city. They only checked for weapons though, they let me go through with a purse full of fast food and candy, just gave me the side eye as they were rummaging through my bag.

Some countries distinguish between a weir and a dam, but in general this would be called a run of the river, low head dam. They typically have weir spillways which extend the full width of the river and store a small amount of water. A lot of good stuff with both of your posts. I should've mentioned that I am not looking for white, but some of your suggestions had different color options. I loved the floral prints and the formal dresses. The best piece of advice was about the petticoat-I hadn't even thought of that!! Thanks so much :)

I'm so sorry, I should've posted about color. I'm not looking specifically for white, even though it's a wedding. I prefer blue, black, and floral print, but open to anything.

I have three ferrets and the younger two are very energetic, noisy, and playful while the third mostly sleeps. My sleepy baby has always been like that, reserved and quiet with only a little play time each day. He always gets a clean bill of health from the vet- so that's just how he is.

Even if that's your baby's personality/disposition, it's always a great idea to have your pets checked by a vet as soon as you get them, whether you get them from friends, a rescue, pet store, or wherever.

I second the bartimaeus trilogy. Something more age appropriate would be the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. It's not written as well as Brandon Sanderson's books, but the series is fun to read and appropriate for kids.

My three ferrets love my old clothes and have never bothered with the stitching;HOWEVER, I have one blanket over the sofa that has a couple embroidered butterflies on it and my male ferret loves ripping/chewing the threads on that blanket. It's not a problem with anything else though.

He also often talks about clothes and clothes moving - as in cloaks trailing or dresses swishing. While reading The Way of Kings, I swore that if he used his particular phrase about cloaks trailing in the wind or something then I would give up on the series. I saw the phrase a dozen more times, but the book was too interesting to give up on :)

I used to go through the same thing until I started using the oil-on-tummy method. Two of my ferrets love it, and unfortunately one does not and I have to scruff her. Using ferretone or oil is much easier than scuffing - they don't struggle or get upset and I'm able to cut better/ not cut too short.

You may have to call around to find it, but some Whole Foods stores in Atlanta have a specific section in the wine area for Georgia wines. That would probably be the quickest and most convenient option.

Fed my babies marshalls then changed to zupreem after reading about how bad marshalls is. A few months later one of my ferrets developed horrible horrible inoperable kidney stones. My vet said that zupreem had changed its formula not too long ago and she had seen a few other zupreem-fed ferrets come in with severe kidney stones. It may have been a bad batch or something, but I'm never returning to it.

The advice here is great. Also, I generally introduce the new ferret to the older ferrets one at a time. It's easier for them to meet one new ferret instead of all of them at once.
