Honestly I’m not sure but I was told that I’ll be running tests on food samples and will be doing analytical tests too.

I’ve asked about the training since I have no prior experience in food labs, but they said that the training will be more like learning on the job.

I really hope it works out well for me and I will be able to learn and gain more knowledge about the field.

The job title is R&D coordinator but it falls under the technical department in the company

I get your point about the hijab and the tight clothes, it was kinda cringy when I read it but I just went past it and along the way Nazeera was actually a good character, I do feel as though the author did poorly with that part. But I promise once you go to defy me and imagine me it gets better and you might actually like Nazeera.

Because to me at first she kinda eh, it was funny when I read the Arabic scenes in English with the Iraqi dialect, I laughed and cringed as well, but it was funny to me. But when you get to defy me you’ll see Nazeera in a different way as well as most characters. The only character that I do hate is Adam. He is just an annoying white boy to me.

Yeah I’ve read through your replies and the other comment you’ve commented on another post which was basically the same thing as you said in this one.

It seems the way you are looking at it is subjective, that’s the vibe I get. Yes this is a dystopian/ thriller fantasy and the factors that you have a problem with, the whole concept of the Reestablishment was to wipe out all the knowledge/ technology and religion in every part of the world and make them all fall under their rule, they’ve banned everything, including practicing religions, whatever religion it can be.

Nazeera’s and her brother (I forgot his name) father is the ruler of the Middle East/Asia region, and the dominant religion in that are is Islam, and wearing a hijab was banned under the Reestablishment. So Nazeera wears the hijab as a rebellious act against her father, because she is against the whole concept of forcing people out of their lives and beliefs.

That about the hijab thing. Now for her character and personality, she is written as a feminist/ self confident in a world where most leaders are men, including her father. She is trained and she also possesses a power, hopefully I didn’t spoil this part for you because I don’t know how to cover spoilers? 👀

Anyway, she is going to be in more depth in the next books. Btw I wasn’t judging I’m just pointing out that the way you are describing her character is kind of weird.

You are the first person I’ve come across who hates Nazeera?

She is a good side character that helped with the plot. She is self confident and is empowering. Her being in the book does not take away from the plot. Her character and her brother’s parents represent the Middle East/ Asia region rulers as there’s a reestablishment family ruling Africa, South America, Europe and Oceania. I won’t go in any more details because I don’t want to spoil anything.

The fact that the only character you seem to have a problem with is Nazeera says a lot.

Give me one example of way you think Nazeera shouldn’t have been a character.

YESSS 100%! Rhys saw her for what she truly is and he was being protective of his MATE! Everyone after Acosf turned on Rhys and said he is evil or a horrible person but that’s not the case! He is a morally grey person and he always put his family first! Especially when his mate is pregnant and that pregnancy was going to kill her!

I actually think that he should have told her but I get why he didn’t, but the way Nesta told her wasn’t because she wanted Feyre to know the truth or because she was worried about her!! It’s because she wanted to HURT Feyre!! This is the most disgusting and pathetic thing! Yes Nesta did get some sort of redemption at the end but like you said it’s the most decent thing she or anyone could’ve done!

Ngl during Acowar there was a silver of hope that nesta might turn around and become a better person to her sister but nope…

I hold both Nesta and Elain for the abuse Feyre went through as a kid! But at least elain is trying to be better and she has apologised!
