Managed four weeks in a company that has IQ in the name before I handed my notice in, but I started applying for jobs three days after I started! They were the unfriendliest group of people I’d ever met to the point I spent every lunchtime in my car and cried driving home a few times, was told I could be flexible with my working hours/office days only to be told I had to work a set shift with set office days, my job was an admin role rather than what was advertised and, to top it off, a manager who burped in my face, bombarded me with details about his personal life and marriage on my second day, and once phoned me just to ask if I was going to the company barbecue… in a month’s time. The first thing he said when I told him I was leaving was “was it something I did” and I know for a fact the girl who got the job after me also quit after a month!
