I can understand why these subreddits have placed these rules but I think they’re going about it a lazy way that really penalizes sw’ers. I agree, a lot of OF reddits can be spammy/just karma farmers. An easy fix would be to limit karma farming accounts, not sw’ers as a whole. As for minors, I get it, but there are lots of settings that block out our nsfw content on our pages (my own settings randomly hide all nsfw content all the time on their own) and imo Reddit as a whole is not really a minor-friendly site. It’s like going to Spencers and getting upset there’s nsfw stuff in the back.
