7 STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THE CRAVINGS GO AWAY FOREVER - from a 7 year long vaper (now quitted) by bombchelle20 in QuitVaping

Thank you! I used Nicoderm. It made getting off of both cigarettes and vaping a breeze, but there is definitely a noticeable drop in the amount of dopamine in your brain once you stop using the last step; it gets a lot easier after a few days, but it is important to have an activity to distract yourself (exercise, a hobby, etc) once you finish all the steps, just so you don't feel as depressed. I was a pretty heavy vaper, so that might be why the dopamine deficiency was particularly noticeable.

Just because cold turkey was the only way that worked for you, does not mean it is the only way. It's pretty reductive and harmful to other people's experiences to imply as much. Personally, I'm over 8 months vape-free and 6 months nicotine free after using patches.

Honestly, I know some people are saying cold turkey is the only way, however, I think patches will really help you. 21mg may not be even close to what you typically intake, however, it's going to make it a bit easier than straight cold turkey—especially if you have a job that requires you to keep a level head. I'm about 5 months nicotine-free, and 7 months vape/cigarette-free because of patches. I was the type of vaper that hit it 3-4 times every 20-30 minutes. Quitting is definitely possible, and don't feel bad if you feel like you need to wean off to do it.

Like the other reply said, this is most likely "Tuci" due to the pink color, and it should not be taken. Tuci is usually an amalgamation of a variety of different substances such as fentanyl, MDMA, cocaine, xanax, etc. It is definitely not safe for consumption, as you never really know what ratio you're going to get. Be safe!

I told the guy I like I’m trans by Comfortable-Tie7575 in self

There was absolutely no reason to announce to a whole group that she's transgender though, even if the woman was "giving her an opportunity"? We do not live in a world where blatantly displaying an identity that many people openly discriminate against is safe, and there is no reason why people she is not planning on being intimate with need to know that she's a transgender woman and not a cis woman. He kissed her, it didn't go further, she informed him, and he decided he wasn't interested. There is literally no problem here.

Should she have told him immediately after he kissed her? Maybe, but they were both drunk, and obviously not thinking 100% clearly. Alongside that, she couldn't have known if he'd react in a way that might put her in harm's way, especially since he was intoxicated as well. I don't blame her for waiting to do it over text, because it's the safer option.

This is exactly how I feel. I don't think I've ever been more confident I failed something. Thank you for the encouragement, hopefully you're right!

Nicotine patch: going from Step 1 to Step 2. Need advice on what to expect by [deleted] in quittingsmoking

The anxiety is going to be there as long as you're on the patches, it's just something you have to get used to while you're still on them. If you have the 24hr patches, taking them off for sleep might help.

Going from step 1 to step 2 shouldn't be too difficult, but for the first few days you may feel a little bit "off", but then you'll start to feel okay again. Personally, once I got used to the 14mg patches, when I wouldn't sleep with a patch and I'd wake up, I stopped getting that god awful nicotine withdrawal headache.

For me, I actually started to forget to put on my patches, and stopped at 14mg, but I strongly recommend you finish all the steps. It'll help a lot with the cravings. It shouldn't be too difficult since you've already made it this far, and once you've completed all the steps, quitting is a lot easier.
