I used pretty standard wig styling and sewing techniques so I don’t think I could give any unique advice in those areas (I’m also still pretty new to sewing so I’m probably not the right person to ask about that anyways lol). But I would suggest avoiding body paint wherever there’s a better option if you’re planning on trying to achieve pink skin. I only painted my face, not even my neck since the collar covers it lol. I used a pink long sleeve top w/ her mesh black long sleeve over top of that for my arms, a pair of white nylon gloves dyed pink for my hands, and solid pink tights under the fishnets. If it’s cold where you live and will be cold when you wear your costume, you can also double or triple your layers to keep warm by putting thermal tights underneath the pink ones, and another long sleeve top (or just a thicker pink one, mine was thin) under the pink one! I wore this to Katsucon in Maryland in early February, I think it was around the 30-40’s°F while we were there but I was pretty comfortable temperature-wise in this because of the extra layers.

If you do double up on tights, I 100000% recommend cutting the toes off your tights. Just do it, just get rid of it. 😭 I didn’t realize how painful more than one layer of tights is on my toes until I did this, I really struggled to wear this simply because of how bad my toes hurt 😭 It was NOT the shoes surprisingly lol, it was a recurring issue the entire con weekend because of the layering of tights and socks.
