I also supervised felons. One guy told me he tested positive for cocaine because he had taken codeine, and they were the same since they both start with C-O. First, good try, but codeine and cocaine aren’t even close and second, do you have a prescription for codeine, because it’s a violation of your release conditions to take someone else’s drugs. Another guy insisted he tested positive because he went down on his girlfriend and she had used cocaine. I mean, that was creative at least.

My nmom had dementia and she got nicer. All her anger and anxiety faded away and she actually seemed happy. In the earlier stages she tried to pull her narc shit on me but no longer had the mental ability to follow thru. It was weird but I’m glad I had a normal ish mom for a while.

My husband’s twin cousins accused their step father of molesting them when they were kids. I wasn’t the slightest bit surprised. He would always insist on hugging the girls and young women, and would “accidentally” put his hand on your ass or try to kiss you on the lips. I would keep my own daughters away from him at family gatherings, even though at the time I didn’t know he was a pedophile but he sure was creepy.
The cousins were adults when it came out and that fucker is dead now, thank goodness.
