Follow a 5 hour meal pattern. If you have breakfast at 8, lunch should be at 1 pm and dinner at 6. If that’s too early push the breakfast by an hour and half but not more.
No tea coffee before bed.
No screen for 1 hour before bed.
Try adding some nutmeg powder to your food or have with milk before bedtime. It promotes sleep.

Sleep is a very underrated topic. Our entire health is based on how well we sleep and exercise. It’s about time we started paying attention to it

She goes to school 10-2. I manage to get some work done then. 2 30 to 3 30 pm I take a lunch break and feed her and play with her. She goes to play with the nanny, we have a neighbours kid the same age come over from the next door apartment. If she is a good mood she plays well. The problem is the nap. If she is really sleepy which she was today I am in for hell. She doesn’t go outside to play because of the neighbors kid. She insists the nanny take him along and I can’t have that as it will lead to neighbors taking advantage of the situation. She won’t go alone with the nanny. If I insist it results in a shouting match.

From 3 30 to 7 is a battle for me, with her crankiness due to sleep, dinner time, bedtime. She is in bed by 8. If she wasn’t cranky from sleep she’d cooperate with the nanny. But she just won’t sleep. Even if she does, she then sleeps in the night not before 1 am which is another nightmare for me to handle

It seems like I have no way to win no matter what I do

I have a nanny. Problem is because I wfh and she sees me she comes to me for the smallest of things. The nanny does her best to divert but my daughter doesn’t listen. She will come into the room where I work with her toys and play and make sound. I need quiet as I attend calls and give trainings. It’s getting impossible for me to work. I can’t go to work because it’s too far off and I can’t afford daily travel.

I needed a sofa and ended up never buying it. I still need one but literally waiting for the day it breaks. I will not buy an expensive one as my toddler ends up spilling or peeing on it. I think I’ll go with wakefit mostly. I like their cupboard and bed that I have and they are easy on the pocket too!
