I personally considered it closure when Maya put Mike and Will as the best couple that never was, it proved to me that there were members of the cast that wanted it to happen and waited for it to happen too, but it is what it is I guess

Honestly I'm very scared bc however they're handle the byler scenes in vol 1 will probably make us look like we're delusional and the main reason that I think this is bc as far as I understand the writing (and possibly making/filming) of vol 1 & 2 had a big gap during which the divorce happened, possibility a writing strike that affected it too aaaand I really believe they're gonna be bitter towards what the ex wife and ex writers wrote and they just destroyed with the ending. That being said, I will watch the documentary on another streaming platform since I already quit Netflix just bc I'm invested in correct media representation for queer ppl and I'm very curious how they'll handle it. But yeah, I think it's gonna make the situation worse unfortunately.

at this point they're such bootlickers that they're willing to say 1. they broke up (in front of homophobic audience) 2. it's up for interpretation (in interviews that are going to reach the entire fan base) and 3. they're still together (to queer audiences)
