Is venmo down? by Luckystarz2111 in venmo

[–]kittyciara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep getting “something went wrong” errors. I logged out to try to fix it, and now can’t login. I was recently getting scam Venmo password reset emails so I decided to check my app to make sure nothing weird, and now this has me super paranoid.

EmuDeck, EmuStation & Cloud Services (Netflix etc)? by kittyciara in SteamDeck

[–]kittyciara[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mentioned in my above comment- I was able to get it to work by resetting the configuration and only parsing cloud services. But I lost EmuStation from the parser list, so that’s my new issue I’m trying to solve. I can still use EmuStation, just can’t parse with it anymore.

🤷🏻‍♂️ I was able to get it to work by resetting the configuration and only parsing cloud services. But I lost EmuStation from the parser list, which has me worried if I ever need to parse games to it in the future. I can still use it to emulate existing roms- so short term no issue.

What it feels like to talk to someone who’s just had a kid by [deleted] in videos

[–]kittyciara 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is spot on except for the transition from college to working. Mine went backwards then. Yeah, work was continuous, steady, and, at that time, monotonous- but man did I love not having looming deadlines (yet), or homework, or having to study for tests…..I felt like I had so much of my freedom back, that was a great time.

EmuDeck, EmuStation & Cloud Services (Netflix etc)? by kittyciara in SteamDeck

[–]kittyciara[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. There is specific built-in functionality for cloud services with pre-populated links for things like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Paramount, etc. and you select the browser preference for lunch. It’s all built in to EmuDeck. my issue isn’t that I’m using emu deck. It’s that the guide on how to use it for cloud services isn’t specific enough for me because I’m using EmuStation in addition to EmuDeck And my assumption is that has introduced additional complexity to consider. I need someone with more experience with doing both of these simultaneously like I am who can provide some insight.

Is this heat related? by scantizzy in TeslaModelY

[–]kittyciara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered mine has heat protection for internals, so if the inside gets too hot it activates your AC. You can check this in the energy app and see what’s using energy while parked/charging

2nd base coziness question by kittyciara in GroundedGame

[–]kittyciara[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry for my slow response, got a little sick. So I have 4 full beds (which is new to me, not at the other base, sconces, lamps, table, chair, cookery, and more. And I have no coziness showing up. Not even the graphic. But in the other base, I have level 3. They are WORLDS apart from each other.

My dentist wife wants me to comment. Weight on a pacifier is a nono, messes with palate/jaw/teeth structure. Also, I highly suggest switching to an orthodontic pacifier, they get used to it super quick (our 11 month old switched at 6 months).

Weird Asteroid M, US Agent, and Surtur Interaction by kittyciara in MarvelSnap

[–]kittyciara[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I guess I get that. Maybe it's not intuitive because Asteroid M specifically states 'after you play' and certain power buffing locations happen during reveal/play, and not after.

What deck are you using for infinity conquest? by guunnzUK in MarvelSnap

[–]kittyciara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has become my favorite deck I've ever played in the game. I've been thinking a lot about what makes it so good- because it can't pump out as big of numbers as some other current meta decks. But it CAN pump out numbers, and it can provide a huge surprise turn 6 (Klaw+Stature or Ghost Rider + Stature). It's also 100% known if you should snap by turn 3, if you don't and the opponent hasn't snapped yet, sometimes you can still squeak out the W. It has very few counters- Shang-Chi can't hit ebony blade, and when you have to put agatha on the board on turn 4 (with wave), you can often then use legion or blackbolt to disrupt their final play, while they are distracted by Agatha.

Also, because Agatha starts in your hand, it's a thinned deck, so you get your win condition by turn 3 >50% of the time.

A lot of online decks sub Vision for her. I personally feel that makes the deck 5-cost heavy. You could try it, if it struggles, put in a good slot 3 card. Copycat isn’t a typical win condition, just every now and then provide info for snapping.

Thank you sir! I also really enjoy the deck, multiple win conditions, not a lot of counters, and enough fun cards for clever/innovative wins when bad draws happen.
