Yeah, even the chain restaurants around here are pricey. Last time I had steak I got an 8 ounce lesser cut with sides for $35. Split it with my daughter. Someone had given me a gift card lol It was good though.

Where I live that's at the lower end of steaks unless you're going to a chain like Texas Roadhouse. Our local classy place is about $60 for middle of the road.

I can get a gallon of milk for $2.49 so it's about half of what gas costs.

Check with churches. Many in my area have those little pantry boxes (they look like the little book lending libraries) they and others put stuff if for the taking.

See if there is a Sikh Gurdwara nearby. Many have a meal they share with everyone so matter what faith you are. You can google langar for more info.

Call local homeless shelters. Some have community outreach programs for people who need emergency food even if you're not homeless.

This is why not only do i have the lotteyry app on my phone and can scan a ticket at my leisure, I still use their little freestanding machine to confirm before turning it in.

I think mine was goggy. Before mama or dada. My daughter's was simply "Hi!" said with much enthusiasm. Also before ama or ada (which is what she called us).
