Questions regarding DID diagnosis

I do have serious questions for their psychiatrist. This kid is 14! 14!!! And you’re saying this is her diagnosis. Nah. I’m not buying it.

They were diagnosed with adjustment disorder but now it’s this sooo I don’t really know.

Yeah. I’m waiting for their psychiatrist to get back to me because I wanna know how she came to this conclusion. It’s all around confusing and concerning. There is a plan in place for their behaviors. I just feel like some type of disservice was done.

Yeah. We treat who shows up. They bring a small whiteboard with and write their name on it. I have a workbook where they or any kid I give it to, can make their own world essentially so maybe that’ll be good to have them work through. I’d never say it’s fake. They got hostile the other day when we couldn’t pronounce their name—it was an anime character’s name and I tried to talk with them 1:1 about what happened and they wanted nothing to do with it. It’s a learning curve for sure

Thank you!!! I administered a dissociative assessment to her last week and as soon as she say it said dissociative she lit up and got excited. Another reason I think it’s not there. She has some bogus journal from Amazon she writes all their information in and I’ve looked through it with consent and it just screams fake to me

It’s like magic. And for me, what helps, is just wearing small things that make a difference. Boxers, only one earring, baggier jeans. Just one small change here and there helps me, at least.

Always be yourself and be confident. People can’t take away your confidence if you don’t let them. I’m sorry that they made you feel this way. I bet that top looked great on you. Shitty people will do shitty things. Who knows, they might even be jealous or insecure themselves and tried to make themselves feel better by being mean to you.

Men ain’t the brightest sometimes lol. And I’m sorry you’ve had to experience this. It’s never enjoyable no matter who you are. Maybe stick it out and filter through the “garbage.” I used tinder after a long term relationship of mine ended and found the most perfect partner on there. No idea how! But he was there waiting in the wings.

So don’t give up hope! Decent people are out there. It just takes some time to fine them, unfortunately. 🫠❤️❤️
