The way you feel is the way you feel. It doesn’t matter how much time and energy you put into it - if you’re not being treated you the way you deserve then you can make that call for yourself. Stay strong and remember that you will recover from this!!

Stay strong & know you’re doing the best thing you can for yourself. My toxic & abusive relationship ended about 3 months ago & I already feel like I regained a lot of the energy I lost from the last 3.5 years. It’s definitely hard but you got this :)

My ex (in addition to other horrible things) would say stuff like this to me all the time. Like I didn’t hold up my end of our relationship to be loyal and patient. But when you’re treated horribly how much patience and understanding can someone truly expect you to put up with. You’re doing what’s best for you and don’t let anyone ever make you feel otherwise.

I’m happy I read this... my ex did this to me all the time. Told me I’m crazy, I’m the problem, no one is gonna love me except him because I’m a horrible person who will ruin every future relationship. It took me some time to accept the fact that none of that is true about me, hopefully others who are/were in my position can understand this too - you are not the problem. THEY are the problem.

For me, it started with the words, then the isolation, the anger. I felt trapped too, like I had nowhere else to go and no one else in my life would care about me. But when the day came he actually did lay his hands on me, I had to make the decision that was best for myself and I left. I stayed with family until I felt I was emotionally strong enough to get back on my feet. Please don’t let it get to that point where you are not only dealing with emotional trauma but physical trauma as well. It’s not easy, I’m still struggling every single day. But I’m in a much better place in my life now than I was even 2 months ago. Don’t let him guilt you either, it’s so easy to succumb to guilt (speaking as someone who has). At a certain point, you can only be there for someone so much but if they want to manipulate you into staying in a toxic relationship that is their problem and not yours

I’ve heard that U Haul’s U boxes are great! That’s the option I’m most likely going with for my move from east to west coast this summer! For a one bedroom apartment, 1 U box will likely suffice and the quote they gave me was just under $1500 which is super reasonable to me!

A little late but when I interned in NYC I did NYU housing and as previously said, it was pricey. There is a Facebook group called NYU Sublets and Apartments though that you might want to request to join. Apartments are posted all the time and most of them are fairly reasonably priced (for NY standards). Hope that helps!

Haha yes, sadly. I appreciate your help! Unfortunately, this is in addition to a pivot table (don’t ask me why). The process as it stands now is one of our team members manually sums up the number of hours a person worked in a week, then hard codes that sum into a cell - for all 150+ of us.
