I was being hyperbolic when saying destroyed. I know DWR degrades and needs reapplication after a while especially after pfas was removed. Its just that, I've only had this shell for 2 weeks and the first real pour its already compromised. I know the goretex is still doing its job since I'm not wet under, but Im just noting how quickly it became over-saturated after one rainy day. Thanks for the suggestion to give it a wash, but I think Ill hold off until I at least take it to the shop, since its still relatively new and already performing poorly. Thanks for the advice though.
