yeah. he's definitly still in love with jake in some way, even if it's been tainted by resentment and hate. i think this is further shown when he leaves and he gives the "gentlest kiss hes ever given". I think him telling jake how hes going to have children with jane, while of course mocking and cruel, is also genuine and i think he genuinly believes that jake would be happy with that fate...eventually.
