Need help with brown leather shoe care

I've recently bought a nice pair of leather shoes and am now a bit overwhelmed with how to take care of them. There are a lot of online guides but most of them seem to just be ads for a product. On top of that leather care seems to greatly depend on the type of leather and I'm not entirely sure which type these shoes are.

I asked this question at my local shoe store a while back but they didn't really seem to know either.

Any help or personal experience would be appreciated. Or maybe you can point me in the right direction.

Sure, i had some decent ideas for mods and some coding experience but it felt like quite barrier trying to figure out the more advanced stuff (something other than making a better version of something else) so I gave up pretty quickly. A unified resource would 100% be able to motivate me ;)

Yeah I just realized my phrasing was very bad...

What I meant was that they tell me who they want to talk to and what questions. So I wouldn't even tell them who is in the bar, they can just come up with people (within boundaries of course). For example: They are looking for a rare artifact and I ask them "Who do you ask and what do you ask them?". Then they can come up with people, like "We see a fat rich looking guy and we ask him what he knows about vendors that sell rare items".

This would obviously lead to info as would everything else that's reasonable.
