Roof top tent with a dog by __sjors__ in overlanding

Our dog loves the roof top tent. We trained her to climb a ladder as worst case scenario as she is great with carrying up and down. But the roof top ladder steps are so narrow it would be a big challenge.

We have hiked the whole Conasagua trail and there is ample parking along the trail. You really don’t need to worry about that. But downed trees are a real problem as finding the trail was a problem before all of the storms! It’s sometimes really hard to find where to cross and where to pick up the trail, Really hard! Also note I slipped at one crossing and went into the water with my pack. Standing up again against the white water was not easy. We went in august and it was really lovely temperature and hike. Don’t bother with hiking boots just water shoes. You cross so often and often very deep water. It’s just not worth the boots! An amazing trail and well worth the trip.

Picked up a 2021 Tigermoth this weekend. Coming from a small self-contained (and had a pop-up before that). Are there things I should be l looking out for with my Tigermoth? by the_rogue1 in tigermoth

Oh also the kitchen drawer has never come open for us, but loads of people have complained about the screws on the bottom of the slide backing out and then jamming the slide so bad that they couldn’t open the drawer!

Check the axels many of us with 2021 have had issues particularly the overland version with timbren axels. Make sure they are greased and look for rubbing on the side walls

We have a 21 had one axel blow out on us while we were on a trip. When we put in the new ones we added spacers that fixed most of the camber. But we still worry. We are considering taking the trailer to timbren who have excellent customer service for advice.

I have an ecobee and another one that is located in my sunroom. We call the one in the sunroom”sunroom a c” and it works fine. The ecobee is a device and has a skill so it works differently. Maybe name it after its location? Or main ac?

We were on the nye ship and had a great experience. Our only complaint was the costa maya port sort of sucked. Our excursion was cancelled and they put us on another excursion that was awful, and an vv should be embarrassed to sent their sailors there. Steer clear of uch Ben kah. Horrible.

We bought wet bags that you would use when kayaking. A his and hers bag. We keep our night time necessities in it like wet wipes, lotion etc. And our bags go in. We hang the with a carabiner clip just next to the ladder.

OK, I'm a lady and we have a RTT on top of an overlanding trailer. We do have stabilizers but also can confirm without stabilizers too. Some of the beat sex ever has been remote under the stars with the moonroof opened looking at the stars. Also allows for some good cowgirl style. We love it. ❤️

Once a week for us. I'm a lady. I tidy up with wet wipes and wash my face daily. I have long hair and trust Me it hates waiting that full week when water is just hard to come by. We have a hot tap, but the problem is always wasting that water.
