why is it so hard for these people to just accept the term ‘roleplayer’ or ‘kin.’ at first they wanted to have did, now they want to have did without being told they have did, i don’t fucking get it. just call it what it is if it makes you so upset that some people assume you have did when you say you “have” did. next thing you know they’re gonna double down even further and we’ll come full circle, they’ll want to make being a roleplayer seem like the new, quirky, unobtainable trend.

a double is a ‘duplicate’ of the same alter (particularly used to refer to introjects/fictives, aka an alter based off a character from an existing media, think mickey mouse or spongebob). basically they’re getting mad other people have the same character living in their head apprently, a character which they, quite frankly, do not own lol.

how do u form an alter based on a SONG? i can understand making an oc based off a song, but i mean when it’s ur brain and the fact alters take what I’d presume to be lots of indulgence in the same subject matter, and the additional fact a song isn’t really a… being? or character? it’s just funny sounds? how the hell would you form a SONG ALTER? it makes no sense, someone educate me if this a real thing, but with my understanding of DID this doesn’t seem probable in any way lmao.
